 Probably the most entertaining movie I've watched in a while. "SPLIT" a thriller, starring James McAvoy, directed M. Night Shyamalan. McAvoy plays Kevin Wendle Crum, a man with 24 different personalities,  how ever, they aren't just personalities. Each character is basically another person with their own interests, own problems, physically and mentally. The only thing is, they all co exist in Kevins' body. To give you some insight, one of the identities, "Jade" has diabetes and requires insulin shots whilst none of the others do.  So its about A few of Kevins identities abducting three teenage girls for a "ritual" for the 24th identity, i can't say any more than that otherwise ill spoil it.

 Whilst watching the movie you'll feel really immersed. McAvoys unreal acting brings you in and as every knew identity emerges its like theres a new layer to the movie. Watching Mcavoys portray portrayal of Kevin Wendle Crum and the Identities is Seriously impressive, the way the tone of his voice changes and his mannerisms transform, effortlessly. Its not just Mcavoys acting thats great about the film, the Moral of the story has quite a deep meaning also. Its not just a crazy thriller also, there are some really funny moments in there to ease off the tension and darkness that comes along with the story.

Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark

Taking it back to another old school movie this week; Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark. I first watched this movie when I was about 12 and have watched it countless times since and could watch it a million times more. This movie keeps you hooked from beginning to end with an incredible and upbeat soundtrack, fast paced adventure, incredible fight scenes and successive suspenseful, death-defying cliff-hangers. The special effects are amazing for the time period the movie was made, and the fact that old school methods (no CGI) were used to create the special effects makes this movie that much more remarkable. Like many other action movies, Raiders also has a bit of romance thrown in there. However, unlike other movies where the female lead is often a damsel in distress who constantly needs rescuing, in Raiders the female lead, Marion, is a hardcore and formidable woman who can definitely take care of herself. The School Of Rock

If you haven’t guessed by now, my favourite types of movies are those with amazing sound tracks. So sticking with that theme, let’s talk about The School of Rock. This musical comedy follows the story of a rock musician Dewey, played by Jack Black, who gets kicked out of his band and then impersonates his roommate, a substitute teacher at a prep school, to make some cash. Soon after, Dewey discovers the kids are amazing musicians and teaches them the ways of rock, in an attempt to win Battle of the Bands and the accompanying prize money.  The sound track to this movie is filled with some great classic rock songs including “Back in Black” by AC/DC, “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin and “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nicks.
